Day 9: Thankful It's Friday.

 Journal Entry (Written by sarah)

Facetimed my students today. Some kids were absent, so I didn't get to talk to everyone. In Physical

Therapy with Katie and was moved to a cane, No more walker. Praise Him!

We worked on moving over obstacles and walking with the cane.

Second PT was more difficult. We walked up and down three flights of stairs (Will ask Tuesday how

to practice that at home). I walked a lot unassisted. This physical therapist thinks I'm impulsive and

untrustworthy. (He told me so). He doesn't like the way I turn. He wants me to walk wider. He just doesn't

understand how hard it is for me to retrain my brain. I've walked this way for 41 years. Going to make sure

l limit how many more times I see him. I need hope, I just wish he could see how hard I'm trying to obey

what he tells me to do. I remind myself that this struggle may all be due to being Asadi's oldest patient.

I want to be free of the cane by next Friday. Don't think I'll make it.

Walked 7,048 steps

Took tylenol and ibuprofen today. Will only take tylenol to sleep.
