Day 190: PERCs

 Journal entry (written by Sarah):

Mom went and had breakfast. Then we ran errands. Mom needed lunch so, we took her to lunch. It was torture but, I need her fed.

We arrived to the dreaded third floor at 12:30 pm. I was back and in the bed by 1:10pm. We found out that Dobbs and Williams were running behind. So, I didn't go into surgery until about 3:30pm. Mom said Dobbs was very pleased with the procedure and he was able to get the 20 degrees of stretch/dorsiflexion that he wanted. 

Waking up was definitely better with Dr. Asadi as he talked to me before he left/ I went to ICU. The nurse was very pushy and was rushing me out of recovery. I had to remind the nurse that my mom was in the waiting room. She said it is because most adults come in by themselves. I'm not sure how she thought I was getting home though as I obviously couldn't drive.

We grabbed dinner and then I went to bed by 8:30pm. It REALLY hurts to walk on my left foot.
